Good value for my first order

I bought the Number Fourteen Junmai Ginjo after seeing an offer for new customers. I signed up for the newsletter and got 10% off, which made the price pretty good. Shipping took about 5 days to reach me in Ohio. The sake was really smooth. Felt like I got a quality product without overspending, so I was happy with it.

Always reliable, my go-to

I've been ordering from Brooklyn Kura for over a year now, usually the Grand Prairie Junmai Ginjo or one of the monthly releases. This last order, a Sake Tasting Set, was just as consistent as my previous purchases. They pack everything well, and the quality of the sake is always top-notch. It's why I keep coming back instead of trying other places like Den Sake Brewery. I usually pick up at Industry City, which is super convenient for me.

Smooth ordering, good product

My experience ordering the Occidental Dry Hopped Sake was pretty straightforward. The website was easy to navigate, and checkout was quick. Shipping to California took a little over a week, but the bottles were packed securely and arrived in perfect condition. I actually had a question about storing the sake, so I used their online chat. Customer support responded within an hour and was very helpful. The sake itself had a nice, crisp flavor. I appreciated the detailed product descriptions on the site, which helped me choose. Overall, a solid experience from start to finish.

Thinking of getting a gift card for my buddy, but wasn't sure if he could use it on, like, a brewery tour or just for bottles?

M Matt Rivera 5 days ago
I think gift cards are usually just for products, not events or classes. But you'd have to double check their specific policy.

From my experience, gift cards work for anything on the site, including tours. My friend used one for a class.

Anyone know if they've got any first-time buyer discounts floating around? About to place a big order.

S Susan Smith 1 week ago
Yeah, they usually have something for signing up for their newsletter. Check their site, it's often a popup.

Can I actually pick up orders directly from the brewery? I'm in Brooklyn often and would rather just grab it myself.

M Matt B. 2 days ago
Yep, they do local pickup at Industry City. Just choose that option at checkout.

Definitely. I've done it a few times. Saves on shipping and you can grab a tasting while you're there!

Does Brooklyn Kura ship to, like, all states? Or are there restrictions on where they can send alcohol?

M Mark Lopez 1 week ago
Nah, not all states. Alcohol shipping is tricky. You'll need to put in your address during checkout to see if they can send it to you.

They have a list on their site somewhere for eligible states. I know they can't ship to some of the stricter ones.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how long shipping usually takes for the sake? I'm in Chicago and want to get some for a party next weekend.

S Sofia T. 2 weeks ago
Mine got to SF in about 4-5 days last time, so Chicago might be similar. They're usually pretty quick with processing.

Yeah, I'm on the East Coast and it was like 3 days for me. You should be good for next weekend if you order soon.
